Let me just get this out of the way and say that I am in love with this film. I had a ton of fun filming it and possibly, even more fun editing it. Casey and Rachel were so much fun to film as well as their family, friends, and bridal party. If you watch the film, I don't think it's hard to see how happy they all were throughout the day.

My main goal with each wedding film is to show the couple's love. I think that that is the real story, rather than just the events of the wedding day so I want to highlight that in any way I can. This was extremely easy to do because anyone can see the love that Casey and Rachel share in every single shot that I had of them.

The day before the wedding I drove the 10-hour trip up to New Jersey and stayed in a hotel. (They almost didn't give me a room even though I had already booked it because I have a few more months of being 20.) The next day I drove to Rachel's mom's house where the bridesmaids were getting ready and had a ton of fun hanging out with them and filming the prep and detail shots. I filmed Jessie's (one of the bridesmaids) wedding last year so I knew her and recognized a lot of the people since they had also been at that wedding which made the day so much fun!

We then all made the trek to the venue, Highlawn Pavilion, which had a gorgeous view of NYC. That was definitely something that I don't get to feature in a Virginia wedding. The first looks were so perfect and are one of my favorite things in the film. Me and the photographer, Laura Lee, were able to capture some amazing couple shots before the wedding which was so much fun. Casey and Rachel are very relaxed and it wasn't hard to get them to smile and laugh. :)

Everything about the rest of the day was spectacular and I loved being a part of it. The food was amazing, and there was more dancing than probably any other wedding I've been to. I am so glad that I got to be a part of this incredible day, and I hope you can experience a little of what it was like through their film.

Oh, and I also started giving the couple a short 30-second teaser within a few days of the wedding and I'm really excited about playing around with this for future weddings.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day! :)
